Lisbon Bike Tour to Alfama and Graça

Lisbon is hilly, old (one of the oldest cities in the world) and… insanely beautiful. The city is not famous for being bike-friendly, since we have the intimidating number of 7 hills. Well, we went to Brazil in 1500 which was slightly more complicated than going on a tour to Alfama or Graça.

Our vintage and good-looking e-bikes will make this so much easier that you’ll start to believe that you are in great shape (which may not be entirely true).

Expert and super-friendly tour guides will take you through the most charming, colourful and traditional neighbourhoods, such as Alfama and Graça.

Please bear in mind that the harder the hill, the better the view.

Tour Highlights

Alfama

Lisbon’s oldest neighborhood and the most charming one, it’s considered the historic soul of Lisbon and its steep, cobblestoned lanes stand just as they were in medieval.

National Pantheon

Also known as St. Engratia Church, it’s a majestic baroque monument that took three centuries to build (from 1682 to 1966) and is the resting place of the most important cultural and political figures in the country.

Graça's viewpoint Nossa Sra. Do Monte

One of the highest points in the city with a magnificent view.

Mouraria

The most multi-ethnic neighborhood in the city where you find food from all over the world and one of the most beautiful tiled façades (Viúva de lamego – tiles and ceramics shop).

Lisbon Cathedral

Officially referred to as Santa Maria Maior de Lisboa (Patriarchal Cathedral of Saint Mary Major) is the oldest place of worship in Lisbon, dating back to the mid 12th century (between 1147 and the early 13th century).

Commerce Square

This Square was the centerpiece of the reconstruction that took place after the earthquake of 1755 which has reduced Lisbon to rubble. In a privilege location, facing the river, this is the most popular square in Lisbon and one of the largest in Europe.
